Terms of Use

Effective September 27, 2026

These terms apply when you download or play Minikins: Sanctuary ("the game"). By playing, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you and agrees to them for you.

The game and your animals

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the game on your devices. The game, its art, animals, characters and code belong to Minikins and its licensors. Your animals, tokens, eggs, skins and other in-game items are part of the game: they have no cash value, can't be sold or exchanged for money, and aren't your property. We may change, balance or remove game features, including the in-game economy.

Purchases and Minikins Plus

• Purchases are made through Google Play and follow Google Play's terms, including its refund policy.
• Minikins Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews at the price shown when you subscribed until you cancel it in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions). If a free trial is offered, you're charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• Token packs add tokens once per purchase. Tokens are a licence to use in-game content and have no cash value.
• Free Minikins Plus unlocked by watching an ad lasts the time shown and doesn't renew.

Ads

The game shows rewarded video ads only when you choose to watch one. A reward is given when the ad network confirms the ad was watched.

Talking with your animal (AI)

With Minikins Plus, your animal's replies are written by artificial intelligence. They are for fun: they can be wrong, odd or incomplete, and they are never advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise). Don't share personal information such as your full name, address, school or phone number. You can report any reply from the game, and we review reports to make the game safer. Don't try to make the game produce harmful content.

The Sanctuary Fund

• During the campaign shown in the game and on the fund page (September 27 to October 31, 2026), you can give in-game tokens to one of the listed charities. The tokens are removed from your balance and can't be returned.
• For the tokens players give, Minikins donates money to each charity at the rate and up to the limit shown on the fund page. Minikins pays these donations itself. You never pay money to give, and buying tokens isn't a donation.
• We may exclude gifts that appear automated, fraudulent or otherwise abusive, and a daily limit per player applies.
• We'll make the donations after the campaign ends and post the receipts on the fund page.
• Minikins isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or Farm Sanctuary. Their names are used only to say where the donations go. Donations made by Minikins aren't tax-deductible for players.

Friend codes

Each player can use one friend code, and each code can bring its owner a limited number of eggs. Codes obtained or used automatically or fraudulently may be voided.

Fair play

Don't cheat, exploit bugs, reverse-engineer the game, use bots or scripts, or interfere with our servers. We may suspend or reset progress, or refuse service, for breaking these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any amount above what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the game. Continuing to play after the new terms take effect means you accept them.
